Since 2005, Pro Retina - Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness has invited the international retinal research community to an interdisciplinary dialogue, the so-called Potsdam Meeting. The primary objective of the 18th Potsdam Meeting is in particular to strengthen young scientists and to inspire them for retinal research. In this symposium the status quo of current retinal research far beyond Germany will be shown and the field of retinal researchers will be consequently enlarged.
