The ESIO Biennial Conference, organized every 2 years is the Event in International Ophthalmology, ie ophthalmology in emerging economies and more specifically in humanitarian ophthalmology. The Event is global with ophthalmologists and eye care specialists (speakers) from five continents. Some speakers come from developing or ophthalmologists from regions heavily involved in humanitarian ophthalmology but also from global organizations such as WHO etc.
