This symposium focusses on metastatic uveal melanoma and will provide an opportunity to interact with scientists who have made significant contributions to the understanding of its pathobiology. Uveal melanoma can often be treated with globe-saving therapies. However, once metastases have developed, treatment options are limited. Understanding the mechanism of liver metastasis, which is still not entirely deciphered, is critical for the therapy of metastases.
